ATracker PRO Time Tracker App Reviews

It s above expectations !! Everything is there and totally intuitive.

25 June 2016: I used to use "Planner HD" because it was far and above the best app for my usage, yet when my wife and daughter needed a time-management app I knew I had to find an app for the iPhone instead of the iPad. In the past ATracker Pro had been my runner-up choice and when I looked to see if they had made substantial improvements I was amazed at how much better their app now was than my previous 1st place app! Since buying ATracker Pro my whole family is now using this as well as myself in business and ministry! Ease of use and yet powerful features in this app set a present high standard for 1st place. Whereas Planner HD in their last app updates grew more complicated and cumbersome, (at least an additional 2 choices necessary to input a historical time entry), ATracker Pro grew more mature as an app, with much more robust features and interface, and yet found that sweet spot for ease of use and simplicity!! I have ceased using any other time tracking app as this app is both powerful, fast and very convenient to use on the iPhone 6s. There is only one possible improvement that I can see at this point, which would be to make a larger "scroll-wheel" for choosing the task when inputting a historical entry. (I have a lot of detail in my time tracking, but the scroll wheel is not restrictive to the categories of task, rather it scrolls through all active task options which have been set in the parameters.) Besides good reporting, I needed the ability to enter historical time entries simply, while also using the start-stop features. This app makes both of these things simple. The set-up takes at least several hours if you want to track many different tasks for both personal and work schedules. Honestly, well over half of the time was spent trying to find clip-art that relates to the task! The good news is that they have a TON of clip-art included and that it DOES make the task easier to recognize in a list if you choose to use them, the bad news is only that it will at least double your set-up time. I am a business consultant and a pastor, and this review is intended as help for anyone else who may have the same / similar needs as I. It is frustrating to wade through all of the sales hype to try to get the truth about an app. Hopefully, this review will help others in a difficult process of finding the perfect time tracking app!

Great app I use it all the time. I only wish I could set it to notify you when you leave a certain place, or to automatically start tracking when you connect to your schools wifi or something.

This app is exactly what I wanted to track my time. I like how when you click start on a task it tracks from that time in my calendar and fills it in in "real time". It might seem simple but this is exactly what I have been looking for in a time tracing app.

I have tired most of the available time tracking app. A tracker pro is very easy to use and full set of functions. Although it is not that good at time using analysis, we can always do it with excel. However, I do hope they can have more icon for different items. Also it will be Bette if we can have more than multiple levels of categories for things an projects other than just two: category and project name.

This app is great! Just got it. Exactly what I was looking for to help me stay on task and monitor my time usage at the same time. Thanks guys. Ill check back after a few weeks.

Ive been using it consistently for 8 months. It is the most efficient way invented for tracking activities. There are many useful features that make the app a powerful tool for analyzing your time. It is such a rich application that I am still discovering new features or finding ways to use old features that help me manage my time.

I work on many projects and this app has been great at helping to track time spent on individual projects. Simple to set up. Simple to use. Pie charts are an excellent way to view my week. Export CSV files make it easy for me to send time to my supervisor. All in all thrilled with this app. iWatch integration is a plus.

Super easy to use. You can modify it to meet you needs. Has been incredibly helpful in identifying where I can improve my time management as an entrepreneur.

This app is wonderful - its simple and easy to use while still being feature rich. Ive tried several other time tracking apps but this is my favorite by far. I love it!!!

Probably a decent app ince you get used to it. It is not at all intuitive. Today I entered a ton of tasks and time spent and now the time spent is gone. Very frustrating to use. It seems like it was designed with no thought to the fact that "regular people" and not programmers would be using it. The basics are there, it just needs refining to make the usability more intuitive and easier to use.

It doesnt sync well. Sometimes record has disappeared. Do not buy this one. You will waste your money.

Great app! I have 130+ activities that I keep track of...app runs smoothly, never crashes or lags. The app allows me to arrange activities in my logical order with an extensive assortment of icons for grouping and quick recognition. Good sorting allows me to review past actions/actions. If needed, I can add descriptive notes, paste email, etc. for each entry. IMHO, iCloud sync would be a helpful addition so that I could smoothly switch between my iPhone & iPad. I manage now by exporting data and loading/replacing data on the target device I want to use…not the best practice but it works and is worth the trouble compared to the many other time tracker apps I have tried.

Easy to use, beautiful UI But...it has little bugs: - all export button are not able to use - backup data is not able to use, nothing happens when click the backup data menu item - pie chart can not be drawn correctly - data showed as its internal id below the pie chart - sometimes it show no data even i have many data

The more I use this app the more I am amazed at its ingenious setup and with how much detail it was developed. Every aspect of time management is covered! I am recommending it to all my acquaintances and now my professor is recommending it to all his students.

Like that you can use this app with simple categories or more detailed. Pretty easy to use.

Very happy with this app. Made the switch recently from Hours without looking back (supported Hours for a long time and eventually had to move on). ATracker is what Hours was awhile ago before it tried to do too much (and failed). ATracker is simple, efficient and reliable. The Watch app works well too. To the developers: Please dont try to implement too many features! Just be good at what you do: simple time tracking. GUI could use a little updating at some point, but not essential.
